Golf Platja de Pals

Pals, Girona, Spain

Designed by F. W. Hawtree, this course is considered to be one of the most prestigious golf courses in Spain. The course was inaugurated in 1966, and is the oldest on the Costa Brava; it has a typically English design, and a round of par 73. There is direct access from La Costa Golf Resort Hotel. Its design demands a precise game as its fairways are lined by pine trees some 100 years old. The clubhouse, with a notable English atmosphere, and with its own special charm, lends this course a final touch for first-class day of golf.
